Data deletion

This page explains how to have data deleted from Socify. It applies to merchants using the product and to creators whose data appears in a merchant’s workspace.

Merchants: delete a workspace

1. Send a deletion request from the email address of the workspace owner to PRIVACY@SOCIFY.CC with the workspace name.
2. We confirm the request and verify that it comes from the owner.
3. Deletion is executed within 30 days of verification and confirmed in writing.

Deleting a workspace removes its users and memberships, all workspace records (creator lists, pipeline, campaigns, samples, messages and notes), all data retrieved from TikTok for that workspace, all stored integration credentials, and all sessions. Encrypted backups are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.

Disconnect TikTok without deleting the workspace

Revoking the authorisation in TikTok Shop stops any further data retrieval immediately. In Socify, removing the integration deletes the stored credentials for that provider. Data already synced remains until the workspace is deleted, unless you request its removal separately.

Creators

If you are a TikTok creator and want your data removed from a merchant’s workspace, write to PRIVACY@SOCIFY.CC with your TikTok handle and, if known, the shop concerned. For collaboration history we act as processor on the merchant’s behalf, so we forward the request to that merchant and support its execution. Where we are the controller, we act on the request directly.

Demo data

The public demo stores changes only in your own browser, under the key socify.overlay.v1. Nothing from the demo reaches our database. Clearing site data for socify.cc, or using “Reset demo data” in the product, removes it completely.

What we cannot delete

Data held by TikTok remains subject to TikTok’s own policies; deleting a Socify workspace has no effect on it. Records we are legally required to retain — for example invoices under commercial and tax law — are kept for the statutory period and blocked from any other use.
